How Odd

Just because I'm posting after having made my "final post", doesn't mean that I'm going to continue with the blogging. I just felt that this was worth a mention...

As it is such a nice day today, I decided to take a walk into the city centre. On my way, I was randomly thinking about what if someone I didn't know drove past, peeped the horn and waved. Then, 5 minutes later...

Someone drove past me, peeped the horn and waved - I had no idea who it was. Some guy in his forties, in a land rover, taking his kids out for a spin. Strange eh?

Ok, admittedly that wasn't a great story, but not much happens anyway on a Sunday, and could this be the awakening of some supernatural psychic powers?...

On a different note, I received a letter from Edzell on Friday - our eviction notice, which states "you have 44 days to take your stuff and leave the premises". This was accompanied by a charge of £35, incurred by having to be sent rent reminders. Now, that's fair enough, as this charge is stated on the lease, but to rub the salt in, the bastards added VAT - £6!! I'm not happy, but I've already discussed this with Mark, and we agreed that if such a charge did occur, then he'd pay it, as it's his fault the rent's overdue. He won't be too happy either when he comes back from holiday in 2 weeks, not so much because of the charge, but because he'll be getting kicked out of his beloved penthouse. Personally I'm not all that bothered, as I want a cheaper flat anyway. I tried to phone them yesterday to inform them of what's been happening and kick up a fuss about the VAT, but the office was closed.

Also this weekend, I went out for my brother-in-law's graduation dinner, in Kilwinning. He recently graduated from Art School with a B.A., so if you're reading this - congratulations again, Martin! That was on Friday. Yesterday, I went to Linwood (near Paisley) for a barbecue, hosted by a friend from work, big gay Scott. That was fun, and such great weather too. I had a quiet night though as I was a bit drunk when I got back to Glasgow.

Cheerio.
